ABOUT LEONARD TACHMES
Doctor Leonard Tachmes, M.D., is a bilingual (English and Spanish) plastic surgeon with a current practice spanning from 1994 to 2022. Dr. Tachmes received his M.D. from Jefferson Medical College, Thomas Jefferson University, and a B.S. from Duke University, with additional education at Miami Beach Senior High.
He completed a Fellowship in Reconstructive Microsurgery Plastic Surgery of the Breast at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York. Dr. Tachmes also undertook residencies in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Chicago Medical Center, Chicago, Illinois, and General Surgery at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, Brooklyn, New York.
With licenses in Florida, New York, and Illinois, Dr. Tachmes is a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the National Board of Medical Examiners. He is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
